"The Ultimate Status Symbol" from LG comes to you in the the form of the Optimus Black.
LG had it right when they said it's sexier than ever. It's slim, it's light and it's 4.0" high brightness LCD screen gives a sweet picture. At the moment you can't be found sporting a better looking phone in our opinion. We are pretty excited about Optimus UI 2.0 interface overlay. This LG software allows Android users to access messages, emails, and their call log from their locked screen with a simple screen with just one finger motion. Simplicity making a comeback!
A new display technology called NOVA, will use far greater power than LCD and AMOLED displays while used indoors. The Nova technology will take up less space in the phone's design thus providing a brighter, clearer interface for the user. LG explained in a statement, "LG Optimus Black provides users with an easier and more natural experience when browsing the web, reading emails, or writing documents with higher levels of brightness and pure white tones that deliver true black and white colors for ideal handset viewing."Optimus Black will be available in the first half of 2011 although no mention of carriers have been made yet.
