Elena Satine the American actress and singer.

Elena Marié Satine (born November 24, 1987) is an American film actress and singer. Elena Satine was born on November 24, 1987 in Tbilisi, Georgia (former USSR) and raised on the Black Sea Coast of the Russian Riviera. She is a descendant of Georgian Nobility, "House of Orbeliani" and a classically trained pianist. Satine began her professional career at the age of 6 when she appeared on a children's variety show "Utrennaya Zvezda" (Morning Star). At age 9, already a winner of numerous international awards, Satine became the youngest performer to headline at "Kinotavr"-International Film Festival. 











In 1998 on a spontaneous trip to New York City, the young actress attended an open call for at the Professional Performing Arts School, and got accepted on the spot. After graduating with honors at age 16, Satine continued her Dramatic studies and received a "Diploma of Specialist in Acting Art" at the Moscow Art Theatre School in Russia, founded by Constantin Stanislavski; as well as doing several international fellowships at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London, England. 
Satine's first role was in the independent feature Ripple Effect. She has since appeared on TV shows including Gemini Division, Cold Case, CW's Melrose Place, and an episode of Smallville (Season 10, Episode 9) where she acted as Mera, the wife of Aquaman. She learned French and Hungarian for her role as Countess Elena Andrenyi in Murder on the Orient Express. She was considered for the role of "Black Widow" in Iron Man 2; the role eventually went to Scarlett Johansson. She was personally invited by director Julie Taymor and U2 front-man Bono to take part in a workshop for the Broadway rock musical Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark in which she performed the role of "Mary Jane Watson".
