HCL launches WORLD's cheapest laptop


Ever imagined that you can buy a laptop for Rs.13, 990.Yes you can now. HCL launches the MiLeap brand laptop with Windows Xp Home operating system.

HCL Info systems Chairman & CEO Ajai Chowdhary told to the reporters that “There is a huge potential in the PC market as India is selling about seven million PCs as compared to 32 million in

China. Through this laptop we mean to increase the IT penetration,"

The value of laptop is low because the operating system was modified to suit the needs of MiLeap portable laptops said the Microsoft Chief Operating officer Kevin Turner. This alteration is made exclusively for Indian customers.

Around 500 professionals will be in process to create Microsoft Technologies based solutions for various Indian Industries with this MiLeap brand laptops.

The laptop has 2 different models. They are X MiLeap , and Y MiLeap.
